The personal touch with which Kahill Insights gave consideration to our ideas, coupled with the efforts in meeting them saw a rise in online engagement, and a Facebook page of over 88,000 fans. We were able to build a community of over 100 influencers, gather and register online advocates and spread the message of a Tobacco FREE Uganda with the help of creative minds. Our first success was through an online petition which led to the approval of the Tobacco control law in Uganda, after over 20,000 Ugandans signed the petition. This led to other milestones worth remembering like youth online webinars, reaching out to universities through targeted campaigns, conducting the first Tobacco Control Hackathon and more.
